It looks like Hillary Clinton will be on Saturday Night Live tonight. Check back later for the You Tubes.

Hillary Clinton may make an unexpected visit on Saturday Night Live. According to CNN, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may make a surprise appearance on this week’s Saturday Night Live, right before Tuesday’s crucial primaries.

A Saturday Night Live spokesman would not comment on the situation and only said, "It's a live show; anything can happen."

However, Clinton did not arrive for her scheduled flight from Dallas, Texas to Columbus, Ohio on Saturday evening and campaign officials would not disclose the Senator’s location, according to CNN.

    There as a pretty funny sketch about the MSNBC debate, then some interaction between Amy Poehler and Hillary Clinton.

    Hillary said "Live from New York - It's Saturday Night!"

    They already are. if I believe them then the skit was unfunny and clearly the cast is untalented. LMAO

    I heard it was great and that Hillary's timing was spot on.

    I also heard that the cartoon skit, TV funhouse, later was a particularly biting bit of satire on Obama.

    A white man cannot play a half white/black man; we have transcended race; he cannot be identified as the black candidate by Bill in any way mentioning JJ, yet a black actor can play him.  Look, if you don't want him identified as black, then the white actor is the right thing.  Make up your figgin minds.

    she sent her supporters a dog whistle in the NewsHour interview when she mentioned that people are coming up to her and telling her not to quit and not to give up. I think PA was another sign of her saying she was staying in at least until PA.

    Which is fine by me.

    There must have been a lot of pressure not to screw up but it looked like she was happy to finally "confront" Tim Russert and Brian Williams in person!

    I think her decision to fly to NY at the last minute was worth it.

    My 21 year old nephew even picked up that Stewart is a rabid Obama supporter.  And it's working on him.  Nephew's rationale:  He was right about Bush, he must be right about Obama, so I'll support Obama!!

    But yes, Stewart will be nice to her face....he saves the face-to-face nastiness for people like Chris Matthews (his last Matthews interview had me covering my eyes).

    gauge on this one.  I don't find him or Colbert to be nasty to Hillary.  In fact the other nite he said something slightly disparaging about the '35 years of experience' and then countered with of course the other guy has 'no experience to speak of' something like that, but you got the idea.

    preferential treatment Obama has gotten from the press.  Their parody took the situation to the extreme.  It exaggerated the  treatment he has gotten while at the same time matching the magnitude of its effects. V. nice.

    ...the way media outlets (especially NBC's Today Show) managed to selectively excerpt scenes from last week's show that totally changed the punchline of the skits so they could bash Hillary with them. It will be hard to do that this week.

    the Obama crowd is saying the cartoon was racist and complaining about the "white" guy who really is Latino and Asian playing half white half black Barack Obama.

    Kinda ironic seeing Barack Obama supporters complain about Fred playing Obama when you think of this quote by MLK.

    I haven't checked that site for several weeks but I just had to see their reaction. They truly don't think Obama has had favorable treatment on NBC (or any other media).

    Do they not remember SNL makng fun of Clinton and Gore every week? That's what they do people.

    ...it seems like the SNL skit somehow managed to suppress the anti-Hillary diaries on the rec list. At least very early this morning it seemed like almost old times with other topics being addressed. But maybe they just haven woken up yet.

    The majority of the first comments quite clearly state that it's not the satire or lampooning of OB that was bad, just that the show isn't funny anymore.

    And, notice the comments saying things like
    "just because it sucks, not because they express their constitutional right to support a different candidate."
    and
    "for gods sake grow up, people are allowed to have different opinions from yours"

    and so on....of course you conveniently don't mention the comments, lol...looks like TL is in it's own bubble now.

    According to many, SNL has sucked since Eddie Murphy left. Sorry, it's still funny. Ad, meet Hominem. Messenger, meet bullet.

    If I was an Obama supporter I'd be feeling like I've been on Heroin these past few months. Many of them have been spitting ugly when he's been ahead... how bad will it get if Hillary turns this around?

    Look, SNL is very smart.  They know if Hillary wins they can always make fun of her.  If Obama wins, with this following, they need a head start with making fun of him so that the fervent supporters (always looking for new adjectives that will not diminish the sensitive Obama supporter) will go ballistic with any criticism, so they are training them.  

    What a nightmare.

    this increased viewership for SNL. Remember when Hillary was on "Meet the Press" ... huge jump in viewership numbers.

    Also, this GREAT media for Hillary at a time when Sem Obama is outspending her. The replays have been all over this morning.

    they had record ratings (I read on one of the blogs), which could be due to people tuning in for the first post-writer's strike show.

    I read an article about the guy who wrote last week's debate skit.  He said that Lorne Michaels asked for another one!  I suspect Lorne attributed at least some of the ratings to the content of the skits.
