The person I know with what I believe is a striking similarity to Trump personality pathology does this though and it's instinctive to almost a staggering degree. They get truthful honest feedback from a friendly associate, feedback that they don't like, they begin to subtlely undermine that associate's confidence if they can, and they try to undermine support of that associate from anyone else.

When the Flynn thing went down my spouse was sort of thrown. His first MOS was the same as Chelsey Manning, and he worked in signal intelligence. As was also reported, someone with Flynn's career history knows that any conversation you have over a telephone with an embassy or an Ambassador is being monitored by at least five different nations but assume more, much more :) How did Flynn come to make the judgement calls that he did? I suppose the answer lies in the outrageous arrogance that can easily be found in Flynn's history and record of service, the things he was allowed to get away with while in service to our country. And the shared feeding of narcissism he had going on with Trump.

When word of Flynn's calls got out, nobody in intel could believe that someone who was promoted into the ranks Flynn was could forget he was being recorded by 10 nations and 10 organizations outside of who he served. It is still hard for most to even ponder. It is evidence of how vulnerable we can be and it's very hard for some people to fathom. And in order to undermine our democracy Russia is probably a player too in making certain that Flynn's conversations as well as everyone else Trump affiliated eventually gets out. Russia may have been the true leak. And if you want to undermine US democracy, well it's what they would have done right after a Presidential transition of power.

Obama ran a tight ship. I'm sure Putin had phuck-in had it!

But it is pretty safe to assume that Five Eyes nations have signal intelligence on Flynn, and the whole Trump organization for that matter. And rumors out there are that the chain of custody for all of this intelligence has been rigorous.

In true counterintel form though, Putin will only strategically expose Trump, for the purpose of maximum damage to the world's construct of democracy.

Armando hopes Dems take the House in 2018 and then Trump decides to quit. The person I know who operates like Trump, when they finally got themselves into legal trouble, they still did not initially quit. They had a health crisis though, their heart could not handle what their personality was putting them through, and it went wild. Specialists could not find anything specifically wrong. They are not Trump's age though. But that's what did "stop" them, for now, but I'm betting it is only temporary. Hoping it isn't, but emotionally prepared if it is.

I think Trump will have a health crisis, a real health crisis, before he "quits"
