NBC calls Ohio for Obama. CNN calls it too at 9:34 pm.

    I just got home from working my poll in the Pittsburgh suburbs. Obama 87% McCain 13%.

    Usually we get 25% to 40% of registered voters.
    Today we had 66%. Unbelievable!

    than OH and FL?

    VA and NC would be the icing on the cake, but every Democrat should love the idea of turning OH and FL blue.  Hope the numbers keep going our way.

    Like I said before, it'd be a miracle if my reps turned blue.  We are a relatively well educated, middle class plus region so apparently it takes more than mere elitism to go blue.  Go Obama - maybe, Go Dem - doubtful.

    I would not have guessed that it would be a squeaker in VA and that Ohio would be the early lynchpin.

    If you'd asked me last night, I would have expected Virginia to be called first. VA is closer than I expected.

    Just a fact of life.  No number of little western states can make up for them.  I'm all for the fifty state strategy, but you gotta get the most populated 10 or so first.

    I've been pretty sure Obama wouldn't win here in FL.  CNN had a good graphic of my Orlando area, and Obama just killed here.  That is great - I hope it means Tom Feeney is losing too.  I need to look that up!

    I'm not quite sure why they called OH so soon, but it does look good.

    Only VA is closer than I expected. I'm pretty sure Obama will pass McCain in the vote tally at the last minute, but it'll be much closer than the polls (or exit polls).. Maybe the Bradley effect did actually occur in VA.

    they've already called that aren't even that close, I would have expected a few more points between the 2 of them! It is still early for big state counting but with almost 40 million, I still am surprised :)
